For Women Who Lead: Looking Ahead to Next Spring and Summer
Hay fever affects millions of people every year, yet its impact on performance, participation and quality of life is often underestimated.
A 2024 international study examining allergic rhinitis and work productivity found that poorly controlled symptoms were associated with work productivity impairment of more than 60%. The study also found that people living with both allergic rhinitis and asthma experienced substantially greater work impairment than those with allergic rhinitis alone.*
For women in leadership positions, the real cost is often measured differently.
It can be the meeting that demands more energy than it should. The networking opportunity you would rather decline. The weekend plans you scale back. The travel, exercise, social commitments or outdoor activities that gradually become negotiable when they should be enjoyable.
Many accomplished women accept this as an inevitable part of spring and summer.
You do not have to accept that each spring and summer will be the same as the last.
Over the winter, I work with women through a short Integrated Health Programme designed to help reduce the impact hayfever can have on future spring and summer seasons, allowing them to experience those months with fewer limitations on work, travel, exercise, social activities and time outdoors.
If you would like to explore whether this could be relevant for you, the next step is a short 1:1 conversation.
